wEDDinG mAKeUP tRiAL.

Saturday June 25th I had my wedding makeup trial done to decide how I want to look on my big day in October, and I think it turned out perfectly. I am so organized and particular that I even brought pictures of what I wanted to look like for my makeup artist so she could see the image I was going for.

Kirby and Aubrey came along for the fun and as support, they are awesome! Below are some pictures that Kirby took during the trial that day so I could now document the fun. :)

 Signing the Contract today June 28th, 2011 and hoping to close on the house August 1, 2011. We are both very excited about becoming first time homeowners and settling in before our BIG DAY in October. :)

I will post more pictures of coures after we close and when our furniture is moved into the home, as well as any updates we make throughout the coming years!!
I think our FIRST PROJECT will be to put up a tile back splash in the kitchen and paint the kitchen, all of the other rooms are perfect colors for our taste!
I cant wait for all of the new and lasting memories to come in this home, we are also very excited to be living next to family!! Jared, Annie and the kiddos are going to be our neighbors, literally NEXT DOOR!:)

On Saturday June 18th we decided we needed a little bit of laughter in our lives, although I have the pleasure of Laughter everyday living with my fabulous finance Nathan. :) Lauren and Mike invited us to a show, and we hadnt been out to a comedy show in months so of course we wanted to join our friends!
After the show we made our way to a near by bar to have a few drinks. We love hanging out with Lauren and Mike it is always a good time. Here are a few pictures from that night!

OK so I know I have told you before how much Nathan and I ADORE Our Niece and Nephew. When William was little, Melissa (his aunt, Nathans Sister, MY sister in-law) bought a tee-shirt for William, for Nathan to give him which matches a baseball shirt that Melissa actually bought for Nathan as well. It a Minnesota baseball tee with "Nathan" on the back of it!
WELL ANYWAYS.. I know I talk to much, the pictures tell ALL! Annie sent me a picture of William wearing the shirt today and I think its the MOST ADORABLE PICTURE EVER!! :)

I hadnt seen Erin in several months, I have known her since I was 5 years old so it was Awesome to see her. Its awful that so much time goes by before we see each other each time, but our lives are so busy and different that its almost impossible to change it. I am planning a wedding while working 8-5pm weekdays and busy weekends with wedding stuff and spending time with Nathan and other friends as well. While she is a nurse and she works 3rd shift which is 7-7am. So with a much different schdule then mine, we need to work on seeing each other more often forsure. She is a very special person to me and she will also be in attendance at my wedding in October. Nathan & I had never been to Drakes so this was our first time, and we definitly enjoyed it. I had heard alot of good things about the resturant and bar so to finally see it for ourselves was nice. With there inside and outside seating and 2 large bars it was an amazing night with amzing friends! :)

Two of the Three bRideSmAiDs for my wedding received their dresses this weekend and I am VERY happy with the way they turned out. The color is beautiful and just want I wanted, this is a relief because the bridesmaids dresses were one of the HARDER parts of my planning. I had a hard time finding one to some what settle for. I think at first I wanted something more fashion forward but became harder to decide upon as well as not wanting their dresses to be in competition with mine although mine is gorgeous. :) Many people told me that I should think about just having them wear something that will compliment my dress and in a color that looks good on me. So I chose this dress in the sangria color which as you can see is BEAUTIFUL!

 These girls mean SO MUCH to me and I cant Believe my BIG DAY is only 4 MONTHS away, time is FLYING. So we all went to the concert of course who misses a Michael Buble concert really?? But we all had different tickets because I bought Nathan 2 for his birthday lol. Because he thankfully also really likes Michael Buble, he actually got me listening to him. :)  Anyways I was so happy to run into my besties right when we entered the Yum Center to take this fabulous pic with Michael! Then we parted ways to our seats. Check out a couple of pictures I took during the show!

Ok so I have mentioned how for me the hardest part of wedding planning has been the CAKE of all things right? I thought that would be the simplest for me to decide on but it has not been. But I was at the grocery yesterday and was looking through a magazine while waiting in line and saw a cake that caught my eye so I took a picture of it of course to take to my bakery. I wanted to share my vision with everyone. I think this maybe just what I was looking for simple, but chic! :) It was a celebrity wedding cake and if you read gossip magazines as much as me you may recognize it but for now I am not going to mention which celebrity because it had no baring on me absolutly loving it!! Hope you like it!!!?

There are so many places that I have not shown above that make Louisville so unique. But these stand out to me the most. I have always lived in Louisville, that maybe why I love it so much. My family is all here and so is most of Nathans which makes it even more our home. I currently work downtown which is a dream come true, I have always wanted too and was lucky enough to get on at an Accounting firm right out of College in one of the lighthouse building with the red roof that you can see in the top picture of downtown Louisville. I love what makes Louisville so awesome which is its unique cultures, art, small businesses, Architecture, resturants, night life, racing, and blue grass.

We are so excited to go see this amazing artist this weekend, Tomorrow actually at the YUM Center!! My best friends went back in Novemeber when we all went to Chicago and they said he is an amazing show! :) So I am very much looking forward to it! My best friends are also going, and Nathans parents too but we all have different sets because I bought these concert tickets for Nathan for is Birthday this year, WHAT A GREAT GIFT FOR BOTH OF US RIGHT? he-he. And I wanted to experence this with just Nathan and I :). We plan to dance our first dance as a married couple in October to a Michael Buble song so this concert is extra special for us! The Concert is the "cRaZY LOve TOur" and of course we have all of his CDs and know ALL of the songs which why go to a concert if you cant sing along to EVERY SONG. Thats how I feel at least! So I plan to take pictures this weekend to post of my own but just incase I wanted to make everyone aware of My Exciting Weekend Plans with my BOO!! :)

Nathan is the proud Uncle to the cutest niece and nephew and thankfully I get to marry into also be there Aunt! :) On my side of the family I am not an aunt YET, and it probably wont happen until around the same time Nathan and I are also ready to have our own which will be so fun! But for now I LOVE spending time with Katie 3 and William 10 months as much as possible. Just recently Nathan bought Katie some sand to go in her sand box and she loved that, we spend about an hour in it that night playing :) See below on Memorial Day Weeknd!

We love these kiddos, they are so much fun! Last night we all went swimming together and William was already kicking his little feet so cute. He is so full of personality, always smiling :) and I must say he loves his Aunt Jenna!! Meet William to the left:

tHe CaVerNs.

Nathan & I decided to go and venture into a cave this weekend. Which was a great idea with it being so hot on Sunday about 94 degrees and the cave temperature was only 54 degrees :).
We had so much fun, although we felt like the cave tour should have been longer, I guess when your a kid everything seems so much different.

Here we are inside the Squire Boone Cavern. :)

While we were at the Caverns we made our own candles, which was fun!! We also shifted rocks and got some really pretty stones. We have been trying to do some fun outdoor adventures lately and its been really fun to do that together! :)
