the GIFT of Marriage..

i was reading one of my fav celebs blog today

and it was interesting to read all about what each

year of marriage brings as a gift.

I have always heard from my Newlywed years watching Nick & Jess

that paper is the One Year Anniversary gift.

but i never knew going forward what they would be ..

until now.

As i was reading Tori Spellings blog i finally got my answers.

For the First Year of LOve your gift is paper, such as a bed, concert tickets, something to share together to celebrate getting through the first year.

For the Second Year of LOVe , your gift is something of cotton.

Such as  monogrammed towels, or  splurge on high thread count sheets.

For the Third Year of LOVe, your gift is something leather. 

this would be hard i thnk, unless you get a leather couch..which we already have..or i guess for this one i

would have to get really creative.

For the Fourth Year of LOVe, your gift is somehting silk or linin, or even flowers and fruits.

this would be easy i would get Nathan a silk robe so he could stop wearing my girly one lol

but thats a few years off so maybe i shoud not wait this long to purchase him a robe.

For the Fifth Year of LOVe,  your gift is Wood.

Nathan and i love our yard, we have alot of flowers, and have added several trees just this year.

but maybe we could purchase a special LOVE tree.

For the Sixth Year of LOve, Your gift is Iron.

On this one i am lost.. so i have fiveyears to figure this one out..

hehe

this is as far as Ms Spelling went on her blog so i guess my gifts of love also stop here for now

but in six years there will be more on the Gift of Marriage.

so this post is dedicated to my Husband, lover, best friend, soulmate.

he is my sunshine..
